We have been working hard on our body percussion in music. We have been learning about pulse and rhythm whilst keeping active. I think you will agree, we are pretty good!
This week we have been learning about pulse and rhythm. We have been learning a new song to practice these skills using the style of rap.
Rowan class were challenged to design and construct a chair using cardboard. We looked at different structures and features they could use in their designs. We also looked at various joins that could be used including, slots, flanges, tabs, single foot folds and double foot folds. The techniques learned to build the chairs included, measuring, scoring and cutting, estimating, joining and assembling.
Current circumstances mean we are unable to have our normal open afternoon to invite potential new parents and children in to look around and get a feel for our school. This video will hopefully go some way to showing you what our school is like and answer some of your questions.
